suzook241 good looking RM. Are you from PA (you didn't put a location in your profile)? I was curious seeing the Cernics sticker.

Is it just me, or is half of this forum from Pennsylvania in some way?  Maybe I just be crazy.

Is this Maico a 440 or only a 400?  Well in all the confusion, I forgot myself.
But considering this is a 1978 Magnum, the best-handling bike in the world, you have to ask yourself one question.
Do you feel lucky, punk?

Seems to me that there's a distribution of both North East and North West.

I've been to both sides of evil.

Its currenlty still being worked on. I'm waiting on a chain roller and I had to get new silencer. I bought this bike for $900 and have put about $700 into it. That's why I love 2 strokes.

I don't think that 250 is strapped down tight enough.

Yeah, tell me about it.  The place I bought it from strapped it down like it was about to get dropped from an AC130.  They loaded it up because I was holding my 2 year old son at the time.  Funny story though, the back end slid out on the drive home and it about fell over.  I fabricated and welded a nice wheel chock for the fron and rear tires on my trailer for 3 bikes.

Yep. I sold my 91 Cr250 for $900 (I bought it for $150 and put about $500 in it) and bought this one at a salvage yard. It had some shredded gears, and was missing the silencer, chain rollers, rear caliper and brake line, side panels, and the reed cage. I got most of these on ebay. I should have about $1600 in it when it's finally all done.
