first time i've seen/heard about them

it seems like it would be better without having to worry about a box sitting on top of your helmet, where if you fall the camera is likely to fall/brake off

Its funny this was posted today. A friend and I were looking at these this morning. I would think they would be just as good as any mounted helmet camera, mainly because you wouldn't have an object sticking out from your helmet. If you get it, let me know how it works.

Dislike it. The gopro quality and view range is far better. I'd prefer to deal with a box on my head any day. It's virtually weightless and you don't have to wear goofy heavy goggles.

Depending on comfort I like these better. I don't know about y'all but I hate watching go pro footage that's watching the sky or the ground bc they aren't aimed properly, hate watching it from the side of the helmet, and hate the odd angle u get from the top of the helmet bc it's so much higher than u are. I do like that u can move the go pro to a handlebar or fender mount or something but the video he linked looks really good and more closely resembles what I see when I ride. I know promotional videos always look better than the product but I don't see how it can be very off unless they are just uncomfortable.

Good point. But with the right gopro and angle you just can't beat it.
