International Italian 125 championship - Montevarchi
« on: February 26, 2012, 07:44:48 PM »
This weekend Montevarchi hosted first international 125 race. My friend Tim Gajser dominated both races. In second race he fell  and started almost dead last but still managed to take the win. Interesting to see are also his lap times he was only 5s  slower a lap than elite riders like Herlings, Frossard, Cairoli,...etc on much more powerful bikes ;)

Here is the video of the race:

Cool race series, I wish the USA had a 125 series. Your pal must have been on the move,to crash in the 2nd corner and end up winning.

Awesome races, Thanks for posting them. Gajger,s KTM sounds awesome, and different than the other ktm,s. Is it a factory bike ? Good to see some RM,s out there, only saw 1 YZ and no KX or CR,s though.

It's KTM Silver Action team which has some factory support for their riders who compete in MX1 and MX2 World championship. I doubt that they offer them factory support for 2 strokes....hmmmm

In the 2nd to last vid, great pass at 1.25, Gajser is a smart and patient racer, to put pressure on 999 then wait til the end to pass him, those 2 where haulen. The last vid Gajser stepped it up, got into the lead on the 1st lap, then checked out, rider 999 was far back in that race. Great racing all around, no KX,s in the races, 2 cr,s and a few RM,s and 1 yz tho.
