Kyle Endriss deserves a great big congratulations for all of his accomplishments for 2007. He chose to race his 125 two stroke against the 250 four strokes and he beat them!
Kyle wrote a little about his experience in 2007 and included a few photos.
Awesome job!
The photo above is is from South Woods motocross track. The hole shot photo below is from the start of Schoolboy Class at Diamondback motocross track. I won both 125c and Schoolboy Overalls that day.

Kyle Endriss pulling the holeshot on his YZ125 two stroke against a contingent of 250F's at Diamondback Motocross track in New York.
One of my biggest accomplishments this year was winning the Unadilla Amatuer Nationals with a 2 – 2 finish. And winning the Novice Championship Overall in the MSC 125cc/250F class.
I chose to ride a 2 stroke because is was my first year on a big bike. They’re light and easy to start. It takes more work to ride a 2 stroke, so in the long run it makes you a better rider.
My sponsors for the year were Sagers cycle, Titan Mx, Renthal, Twin air, Monster Energy, Scott USA, Acerbis and Mike Leavitt Motocross camps.

How about a couple of good ones?
The motocross 2 minute warning sign at the starting gate has been replaced by a 10 minute warning…So that all the 4 strokes can be started before the gate drops!
A $3.00 dollar fee has been added at sign-up to help pay for assistants to push start 4 strokes up and down behind the starting gate.
Spectators will now receive free ear plugs at the mx track from the Stop Hearing Loss Foundation and the local Gun Clubs.
Announcers will no longer be needed at any motocross races because no one could hear what the heck they were sayin’ anyhow, and Marshall Amplification has not come up with a big enough “death wall of amps” to hear over the 4 strokes.
Town officials where MX tracks have survived should be notified that the loud gun shots and explosions are just 4 strokes trying to start and not a Taliban training camp.
A new seat available for your 4 stroke has a high boy back for more of that Layzee-Boy ride…A new cushioned rocker seat is in the planning stages.
The new 4 stroke mx bike now comes with a 1 month money back warranty or a credit towards a 2 year old 2 stroke mx bike.

Since it is the off season in our part of the world we figured we would add a few great articles from the magazines.
The first one is from Dirt Bike magazine February 2008 and it is about the stunning upset in the 1976 125cc Nationals. It is great reading but even more of the story can be read online at www.mxworksbike.com Click on the photo below to read the story. Enjoy!
The next article appeared in the November 2007 issue of Dirt Rider magazine. The magazine set up Ryan Orr on a Suzuki RM250 for the High Point National.
The story is written by Ryan and he talks about how everyone was watching him because he was on a two stroke. Click on the photo below to read this great article.

14 year old Justis raced his 1982 Suzuki RM125 in the 125C class at Wittenberg and got a 7th overall against 250F’s. Dad says it was pretty funny to see the guys on 250F’s scramble and try to re-pass him after he went by.

Dan Heindl #445 on his YZ125 pulling a holeshot against 450 four-strokes in the Vet A class. He holeshot both motos and won both motos. Not bad for riding a 125! Go Dan Go!
2005 Loretta Lynn Qualifier Southwick MA
The rough and power robbing sands of Southwick, the setting for one of the Northeast qualifiers. Ken Napolitano entered himself into the +35 Expert Class and the +40 Expert Class. His weapon of Choice?
A 1989 Kawaski KX250! Yes you read that correctly a 1989 250cc two stroke challenging 2005 450cc four strokes. How did a 16 year old motocross bike do against the modern ones?
In the first +35 moto the field of 38 racers headed for the first turn. When the dust settled Ken was on the ground and in 38th place. He gets up and starts to chase the field. As he catches up and begins passing racers a strange thing begins to happen.
Race fans start cheering him on! Ken is no regular up at Southwick and he is being cheered on just because he is racing his two stroke. How cool is that?
By the finish Ken has worked himself up to 6th place! An amazing ride by any standards. Made even better by the come from behind ride on a 16 year old 250cc two stroke machine.
Ken finished 6th overall in the +35 Expert and 7th overall for the +40 Expert. Good enough to qualify for the Northeast Loretta Lynn’s regional event. When Ken left Southwick he had a contingent of two stroke fans!
An awesome ride and a great story.
