Do you know which model he has? Some of the prototype Sachs Hercs in the video are 350 and 500cc.

I haven't talked to him yet but I see his sig on one of the local sites and it's a 1976 GS175.I would have sworn it was older than that just from the style.

Do you know Helmut Clasen? He has Hercules bikes, and still races them. I raced against him in vintage this season. He wanted to try out his new titanium knees  :P

I have spoken to Herr Speedy in the past about various things and he sure has some nice Hercs! What kind of vintage bike do you have?

That is a 1982 Q2 Qualifier correct? What motor and front forks? Nice trophy and was Helmut there and if so,what was he riding?

Those Allouetts are rare.

Helmut doesn't run this series. He races with my main club, steel city riders.

It's an 82 Q IV with an 80 tank. I did it up to look more like the 80 works bike. The fenders are custom.
It's a 175 and the forks are original Marzocchi's, I think 35 mm. I know where there's a set of 250 forks that are 38's and have a bit more travel. If I can get around to picking them up, I'd like to put them on as one of mine is in rough shape.

I don't know what it is with this bike, but people tell me I'm faster on it than I am on my late model 125. I love the way it handles, and how soft the suspension is.

Being the motorcycle packrat that I am, in my collection of stuff I have an 82 Qualifier chassis and an 80 MX4 125 engine AND an 80 125 Qualifier engine. The possibilities are endless! ::)
