1974 Yamaha MX360
« on: January 28, 2012, 07:30:12 AM »
Just got an all stock 1974 MX360 up and running.  New fork seals, tires and chain and sprockets.  Any suggestions for racing the bike.  We have 20 wt fork oil 7 inches down from the top.

Suggestions for  racing it.... Go fast in a straight line and turn when you need to. Also, look out for jumps and whoops and handle them accordingly  ;D Hahaha I'm just kidding. I don't know much about those bikes so I can't accuratly tell you any "how to's".
Mixin' gas and kickin' ass, Burnin' oil and smellin' royal. Two stroke until I die (which hopefully isn't soon)   If your not mixing gas, your not kicking ass.

Betor forks and the best aftermarket rear shocks you can find.Next step is to drill everything to knock as much weight off the Yamaha as possible. If you really want to get fancy find a Rickman/Champion/Redline frame. ;D
