i just pulled the pin on a 300mx 2012
I will upload a video when i get it, 2 - 4 weeks
wooohooo

some guy on vital named Denn bought one, and the first time he rode it, the throttle stuck and he broke himself badly.

HE, along with all his chronies literally put 100% of the blame on the bike, sold the thing, and bought a KXF250.

He's probably better off of a 37hp trail bike with no attitude, anyway.

ya i saw that, he's a tool
How is he a tool?  If something that bad happened to me on my bike i would probably be scared to ride the bike again too.  The guy still has his 2012 sx250 which he said is the best bike he has ever ridden.  So what if he sold the bike and got a 250f, hes got the best of both worlds now.

Hey. Just joined up.  I'm usually around over @ TT, but just wasn't getting enough 2 stroke action w/ just one community.

Here's the rig I've been working on for about 6 months now...

Are you the guy that made the bike thread over at vitalmx on this bike.

I just picked up a 2004 cr250 today for $1700.  I dont have the money to do everything you did but once i sell my kx250 i will get the suspension revalved and get new tires for the bike considering it still has the stock tires.

Im about to buy a bone stock 2004 cr250 with 7 total hours on the bike for $1700 tommorrow.  Hopefully the guy doesnt sell it before i get to it though.
pictures??  :D
Well im going to pick the bike up tommorrow.  The only mod the bike has is vforce reeds.  The only problem with the bike is the tires, they are worn out because they are the stock tires.  Hopefully i can get some good pictures as soon as i get her.

mekong catfish

I would love to catch one of those beasts.  Did you catch it in a river or in a pond where they stock them.  Cause im always hearing how rare they are now in the rivers but luckily they have a lot of ponds stocked with them.

Last summer i was fishing with my grandad in tennessee and we both hooked up 20lb+ stripe bass at the same time.  My fish was easily 25lbs and my grandads was around 20lb.  To bad i only had my piece of crap phone to take a picture so i cant post the picture of the monster i caught.  The best part was we were both using the last two live shad we had left so it was the last pass down the river and we ended up hooking up two really nice fish.

It would be hard to ride but im sure they could easily mellow the bike out a bit to where it puts the power to the ground much smoother so its not to hard of a hit.

But they could easily lighten the 250sx and get the bike in the 60hp range too.

General Two Stroke Talk / KTM 250sx vs. 350
« on: December 25, 2011, 09:38:04 AM »
While reading MXAs KTM 350 bike test i noticed something very interesting.  The ktm 350 weighs 236 lbs and produces 47 hp on the dyno.  While the 250sx weighs 218 lbs and produces 50 hp.  Now im no rocket scientist but im pretty sure that most race teams want to race the lightest and most powerful bikes possible.  So why does KTM keep putting riders on the ktm 350 when they have a 250 two stroke that is more powerful and a heck of a lot lighter than its four stroke brother.  This goes to show just how messed up our sport is right now in my opinion.

Wow that is one gorgeous bike.  Hopefully someday i will be able to ride a 500 to see just how much faster they are compared to my 250.
