Fuel Injected 500cc Two Stroke – YamaHonda in NZ

It’s Here.. Well, There.

When you take a modern aluminum frame and stick a CR 500 motor in it, you have a 500 AF. When you take that Yamaha 450 chassis and put a 1985 CR 500 motor with Fuel Injection in it, you get a YZR 500FI. Check it out!

  1. Well, it sounds like a normal CR500, and looks like it doesn’t have too much more power than mine, but damn I bet it’s fun to ride with a newer, more balanced chassis.

I rode a newer bike a few days ago, had it’s suspension redone by someone; Wow, that thing was easy to ride.

I’d love to ride that thing…

  2. Actually since I snuck on their cr500 forum, this bike dyno’ed in at at around 67hp with stock porting/cylinder, stock reeds, and a super mild tune. A performance tune with this motor would be insane.

  3. holy s*%t i want 1!had a 500 but was very outdated handling wise.own a yz250 07,with a lot of work done and is very quick, but this bike would be awesome on an open natural mx track!
