YZ125 2011 Special Edition ready for the GP’s

As you saw earlier their photos of the prototype Yamaha YZ125 – 2011, the company has now also produced a Special Edition of that machine with aluminum gas tank, handmade exhaust and bodywork and decals in Black and Gold.

This machine will debut on the second round of the European 125cc Championship to be held during the MX1-MX2 GP round in Spain. It will be ridden by young dutch rider Lars van Berkel.

The company putting all this wonderful two-stroke work forward is Van De Laar Racing.

The ’2011′ models can be bought as complete bike’s but also it’s possible to ‘upgrade’ your normal YZ125 to a “2011-model” by just buying the new bodywork. You can choose the colors Blue, Black or White. Gas tanks plastic or aluminum, and all this bodywork fits also the YZ250 !!!

  1. I was like a kid in a candy store at the first 125gp in Italy, so many trick bikes to take in and ‘spy’ new parts being used, the TM’s looked and sounded sweet but nothing can take the sound of the new Husky’s on full bore out of my head, man’ they revved to the moon and back ! And for sheer deep ‘grunty’ sound the new KTM takes the win.

There were handmade pipes, trick cylinders & CDI’s with map switches on handlebars, factory suspension units, ‘ali’ fuel tanks, carbon airboxes, Ect

Who says the 125 is ‘dead’
