Two Stroke Quote of the Day
“I was fortunate enough to be able to ride a full Mitch Payton Pro Circuit Kawasaki 125cc (two stroke) ”
“That was the bike the majority of us wanted to ride. I know I did when I was 10 years old sitting in the stands of the SX races or the uphill at Washougal .”
“Needless to say it was possibly the most fun I had the whole break. Granted the four strokes have gottenĀ a lot better the past few years. Still the thing was AmazingĀ and Unbelievably easy to ride. I rode it and rode it and rode it some more, Partially just so I could listen to it!”
“I want to thank Mitch Big time for letting me do it.”

Proof positive there is a place for the two stroke in modern mx/sx. Here is a rider with access to the best equipment available and the machine he favored the most? The TWO STROKE!

Smells like the REVOLUTION has begun. Two strokes are more cost effective and the economy is in the tank. Some of the factories and race teams it seems are starting to see the light, hopefully before it goes out.

and that’s the great thing, even more than being cost effective which Weimer clearly doesn’t need to worry about, the two stroke is just way more fun to ride! I think I’d give up a kidney for a ride on that KX!
