Speaking of two stroke cars, when i was stationed in Japan in the early 80's i owned several. My first was a Daihatsu i believe, it had a 360cc twin cylinder 2 stroke. It was pretty tame but i loved it nonetheless - it was extremely reliable. My next was another Daihatsu 360, it was - get this - a mini-pickup truck!! And when i say mini, i could lift the rear end and move it, what an awesome little vehicle!! But my last and favorite was my Suzuki Fronte. It had a 440cc watercooled 2 stroke triple. One time I drove it from Iwakuni MCAS to Fukuoka airport with 3 friends, and at one stretch of highway had the pedal to the metal for miles at a time with the speedometer registering a steady 120kph (75mph). It had decent acceleration and sounded AWESOME, like a Ferrari!! It was the best sounding vehicle - cars or bikes, i've ever ridden in. Someone on base had a 550cc version that i had my eye on, but i never got around to taking it for a test drive. Back then i bought these cars for only a few hundred dollars, i would pay a FORTUNE for them now
