Sorry guys, they do not have a 125 at this time.

The model line-up consists of the following displacements;
250
320
500
620
685

They are available in Motocross and Enduro versions.

Stay tuned for additional news plus information on test rides. There will be ride days in the UK and the USA during the first quarter of 2010.

From my understanding, Maico isn't doing a 125. I think it is 250, 320, 500, and something in the 600cc area.

The best thing about this story is that in the popular British 2-Stroke Champtionship there will be 2 prestigious pro-races that Maico's big bore bikes will be eligable to race in. The Saturday MX1 race is an open class just for 2 strokes and the Sunday MX1 open class is an open class race for both 2 AND four strokes. So they will be able to whip the 4 strokes ass and hold the seperate 2 stroke exclusive crown if they field a good pro rider on the bikes.

This should mean that Maico have a product that will be in massive demand - don't forget that people are still riding old CR500's due to the fact there were no other choices available in the big bore 2 stroke market until now.

I wish Maico a lot of luck with this venture and hope that here in the UK they will sell truck loads due to the current opportunities available open to them in the 2 stroke championship.

Lets hope a similar championship opens in the states sometime very soon. The interesting thing about the 2 Stroke Championship is they bypassed the crappy rules set out by the FIM (which is the same as the AMA) and ran it indepedantly. Now they have a huge championship supported by major sponsors and loads pf press / riders! Who needs the AMA all they have done is allow the destruction of the 2 stroke, the message is don't wait for them to change the rules, we can change them ourselves - here in the UK people power has worked!

Great news. I am very curious what they will offer in a modern big bore. More so, I am interested to see if they can be accepted by the US as a viabke race option.

Are these test ride days going to be in the USA? If so, Sign me up right now. I will be there! It's been a while since I have ridden anything with GRUNT, and I am not talking about an 1/8th ton 450F!lol
