Berry has a blast on Serrano Maico

Maico Internationals Dunlop Maxima rider Neil Berry hit the ground running, or should I say riding when he landed in Phoenix (America) earlier this week and will be the personal dinner guest of former Maico factory rider Carlos Serrano over the weekend.

Meeting up with the former G.P. rider at P.M.P. Moto Park, Berry had the chance of a blast on an immaculate 1978 250 following a busy week visiting numerous M.X. retail outlets creating brand awareness and raising the profile of the once iconic name.

“Since arriving here everyone has been so friendly and very interested in Maico I have run out of all the literature and brochures, but I would like to thank Carlos Serrano for the chance of a ride on the 250 and for all his hospitality,”

Serrano who now runs Serrano Motorsport Services (www.serranomotorsports.com) has raced the big bore Maico all over the world and is still more than capable out on the dirt more recently winning the 2007-2008 American Vintage Dirt Racers Association (AVDRA) District 1 season championship in the GP50+ Expert Class.
