Annual Dutch 500-2stroke meeting to be held on September 19th.
Dear 2stroke-fans,
Our annual meeting of big 2strokes will this year not take place on the heavy sand-circuit of Nunspeet, but somewhere north on the faster track of Vledderveen; Groningen-county.
It’s not a competition, just a meeting of enthusiasts. So ride all day if you wish and take a look on the track and in the paddock at your fellow 500riders and their wonderful bikes.
Just exposing your 500, or have some parts for sale is also possible.
Minimum size of the bikes is 400cc water-cooled and 351cc air-cooled. NO exceptions!
A prize will be rewarded for the most beautiful 500cc present. Last year it was won by a proud 1981 Maico MC490 owner.

Hope to see you all!!

That’s so awesome. As much as it bothers me that 2-strokes are almost gone, it always makes me feel better about the whole situation when I see stuff like this. I look at it this way: everything is better when it doesn’t have widespread popularity. Music, food, people, surf spots…everything. As long as I can still get parts for my bikes, I think I’ll be happy.
