Budds Creek FMF 2 Stroke Race – CANCELLED

Unfortunately the Budds Creek edition of the FMF 2 Stroke Invitational was cancelled due to weather. How did this happen?

The start of the day was rain, at least it had rained Friday night. The track was pretty wet in many areas, so the Two Stroke practice was moved to 12:25pm instead of the usual early morning practice.

Due to additional delays and the live coverage of the Pro National, the Two Stroke Race was pushed to the end of the day. Once the second moto of the 250F class was red flagged, a handful of die-hard two-stroke racers showed up on the line to do battle. But it was not to be, the race was canceled.

Then someone asked what was going to happen with the FMF awards? After speaking to the folks over at FMF it was decided to have a drawing to hand out the awards. So thanks to FMF three lucky racers got to bring home an amazing one-of-a-kind award.
