well, i made the 3 1/2 hour drive out to redbud. and i'd have to say, that the fans were more excited to see, and hear the two strokes on the track. not to mention riders like the G.O.A.T. and Stanton. to list a few. also, Jeff Emig had claimed that his clutch went out at morning practice. something is fishy about that. can't possibly tell me that he of all riders couldn't get a clutch, or new bike for that matter so he could back up his talk aswell. any ways Ricky won by a mile, and he took two extra victory laps to show respect to the fans. and on the podium he went on to say that he wished he could be out racing the next heat. also. lorocco's leap, ricky over jumped the landing enough times during practice, that he blew out his rear rim. well for only 3 laps, it was short lived, but well worth the long drive. long live the two stroke!!!!

Well no big surprise this race was not broadcast on NBC, nor was it mentioned during the broadcast.

From what I have heard, Alli-Sport did broadcast the race, but I don't know if it was video or just audio. I will find out what happened and post it here late Sunday Night or early Monday morning.

Great ride RC!!

"The bad news is, everyone says the 450 class is so...boring." Thanks motocross.com, I couldn't have said it any better. I just finished watching the Red Bud race on TV. I won't watch another race on TV! They only showed the second moto and a few highlights of the first moto. Not even a 10 second clip of the FMF invitational. I am trying to find results and the only mention I have found is on supercross.com. Two lines describing Ricky Carmichael's accomplishments and stating that he won. Two stinkin' lines? What the f#*k!

Make sure you watch the two videos now embedded in the post above. Jeff Stanton riding and interview and some pretty strong predictions from Jeff Emig.

Check it out!! There is a good chance that this race will be broadcast on Saturday on NBC.

Whether or not that happens please visit this page;

Scroll down a little bit and click on the "Legends return for Exhibition Race" there is video footage of Jeff Stanton racing around the track on a CR250 two stroke and answering some questions about the race.

This is going to be awesome!!
