How about letting everyone know what your thoughts are of your new Maico?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Don’t give the folks over at Maico and Service Honda too much of a negative rap. They are doing the best they can with their extremely limited budgets.

Just an FYI Maico has a program where you can try before you buy. They are very confident that when you try their bike you will want one.

We’ll try to get a test on one of these bikes in the near future.

As for Service Honda, they sell most of their bikes in the USA and had planned to field a team for the Nationals. Unfortunately the manufacturers blocked the rule change allowing 250cc two strokes to compete in the 250 class for 2009.

As for the FIM in 2010 the rule allows 250cc to race whether it is two stroke or four. This will open up the field to allow teams with less cash to compete in the GPs. 2010 should be very interesting race year.

With any luck the rule will also pass in the USA and we will see competition between 250cc two strokes and four strokes.

c) MX3: motorcycles of Cat. I, Group A1, over 290cc up to 500cc for
2-stroke engines and over 475cc up to 650cc for 4-stroke engines.
MX1 and MX2 motorcycles may also participate in the MX3 class

No young guns on 2 strokes for MX3 at all?

I am a bit disappointed that nobody, not even the manufacturers – Service Honda, KTM or Maico have sponsored a single rider or supported a privateer in the 2009 FIM MX3 series?

Maico, Service Honda GET OUT THERE AND PROVE YOUR PRODUCT!!!!!!!!!
Fans are and will watch the MX3 events.
SHOW YOUR PRODUCT AND MAYBE YOU WILL SELL A LOT MORE!

I would never buy a race car to race, that has never even raced in almost 20 years. Would you?

Put the riders in saddles and WIN some races. Show the 20 year old riders that there is another option other than the expensive 4 strokes!!!!!

The door is wide open for you via the FIM – Show and tell time!!!!!

Make some money by proving the bike can do it. It will result in sales!
